A crucial win in our title quest. Bill took an early draw in our 'Kat and Ansh win, pick something up on the top two boards' strategy, so, going to plan so far. Then Keith lost to Euan, needing snookers against the former green baize pro who has transferred his skills well to the chequered board. We were a little on the edge here, but Kat saw her game with the tricky Aaron through, leaving Ansh with the task of bringing the points home. Though he was always better, very stubborn resistance from Alastair brought it all down to a K&P ending before he prevailed. A good result against one of our top rivals.

A worthy fight from the D Team against the side who tripped up our C Team in the opening fixture. Robert and Andrew will be disappointed with their games, but James came close to the full point against Steve in a bizzare ending, and there was a good win from the ever impressing Daniel against the experienced Gordon. Daniel may be this year's 'find'.  last years was Kat, and she's not been too shabby since...
